“ What a find! We happened to be driving through Benson and love exploring New Mexican restaurants. First of all, the outside and inside of this place are simply adorable. Next, the server and owner were beyond friendly and service was on point. There was a line out the door when we left. Multiple reviews said to try the carrot cake, but we were so full after our delicious enchiladas that we got the cake to go. The owner encouraged us to try a few bites before we left, since the cake is served with a warm sauce. Oh. My. Goodness. I can’t wait to eat the rest!! ”
“ Not only was the service EXCELLENT, and the space is warm and welcoming and beautifully decorated, the food very well may be the best Mexican food I’ve ever had the privilege of having! Special shout out to the chile relleno, the red sauce enchiladas, the guacamole and the exquisite carrot cake with rum caramel sauce! It’s hard to really say what the best thing on the menu is because everything we had was truly spectacular. You can tell this is restaurant where the food is made with love and care. The presentation was top tier as well. The staff was so on top of everything and seemed so genuinely happy that we were enjoying ourselves so thoroughly. Thank you especially to Santa in the kitchen, we will be reminiscing over this meal for years to come! ”
